Warranty

Your legal guarantee rights, the manufacturer’s guarantee and what happens when you report a fault.

EU notice: your legal guarantee rights

Also available in: Nederlands · Deutsch · Français · Polski

You have legal rights if the goods are faulty or do not conform to the contract. These rights apply against the seller and are separate from any commercial guarantee offered by the manufacturer or seller. The duration of the legal guarantee and the period during which a defect is presumed to have existed at delivery may differ depending on the law applicable to your purchase. See the country information below.

This information applies to consumer purchases of new goods, unless stated otherwise.

United Kingdom

UK consumer rights apply separately from EU consumer law. Consumers generally have a short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days. Claims may generally be brought within six years in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and within five years in Scotland. This does not mean that every product is guaranteed to last six years.

Manufacturer’s guarantee

On top of your legal rights, the manufacturer gives a commercial guarantee: Powermatic and Zorr 1 year or 10,000 cigarettes (Zorr Powermatic 2+ Deluxe and Zorr Powermatic 4+: 2 years), Shark Powermatic 3 Plus 1 year, Hawkmatic 2 years or 20,000 cigarettes, whichever comes first. This is in addition to your legal rights and does not limit them. Has the manufacturer’s guarantee expired, but something still seems wrong? Contact us anyway – we look at every report on its merits.

Wear parts

Certain parts, such as the filling spoon and the tube rubbers, may wear as a result of normal use. Normal wear and tear is not a lack of conformity. However, a premature failure, manufacturing defect, incorrect specification or other lack of conformity is not excluded merely because the part is described as a wear part. We assess each report under the applicable legal conformity rules.

If a defect is covered by the legal guarantee, we provide a free return label or another free return solution. Our service desk in Turnhout is an additional service, not a required step. The repair, replacement, return, removal and reinstallation of the goods, where applicable, are carried out free of charge and without significant inconvenience to you.

What happens when you report a fault

  1. You report it via our diagnosis form.
  2. We assess it within one working day.
  3. If the legal guarantee applies, we send you a free return label.
  4. We offer repair or replacement – you tell us which you prefer.
  5. If neither can be done within a reasonable time, or doing so would cause you significant inconvenience, you are entitled to a price reduction or a refund.

We can still service or repair your machine. See our service terms. The price is communicated in advance and paid in advance; any additional work requires your express agreement.
